Canadian Election Results underscore the Leftist Stranglehold on the Country

30 April 2025

The Left solidified its political stranglehold on the Canadian people this week. The Liberal Party increased their share of the national vote by more than 11% compared to the previous federal election, almost achieving an outright majority. Along with the New Democrats and the Green Party, the Far-Left amassed over 51% of the vote, with the liberal CPC and Bloc Québécois taking the rest. Pierre Polievre, the leader of the opposition, even lost his seat in parliament as a representative of Carleton riding in Ottawa. Polievre’s Party had led the polls for quite some time in the run-up to this election, but ultimately Canadian voters opted to emphatically embrace the Far-Left.

If anything, this election result highlights what a terrible idea Trump’s proposal to annex and incorporate Canada as a 51st US state is. Canada is not only increasingly leaning Left in terms of its politics, it is also heading for a demographic and economic disaster. Between 2001 and 2021 the non-white, minority population share doubled from just over 16% to almost 32%, largely as a result of the Asian population growing by 158% from 2.4 million to 6.3 million. This is driven by mass immigration from China, India, and the Philippines. During this same period identification with Christianity declined from 77% of the population to just over 53%. Today, Christianity is likely already a minority religion in Canada, and white Canadians are expected to become a minority by 2041 if current trends continue. By that time Canadians may also be so impoverished that even basic necessities would have become unaffordable to millions.

What makes this election result even more worrying, is the fact that Prime Minister Carney has already committed himself to reinforcing Canada’s image as a liberal, multicultural, and globalist nation in reaction to Trump’s protectionism. By locking in further leftist policies for years to come, Canadian voters are undermining not only their own future, but also that of their posterity. We must pray for national repentance in the Great White North.
